Catawba Pre-Launch Facility

The Catawba Nation’s “pre-launch” facility, opened in July 2021 in Kings Mountain, NC, served as a temporary gaming venue featuring hundreds of slot machines and a sportsbook. Designed to generate revenue and support workforce training while the permanent Two Kings Casino Resort was under construction, the interim facility provided early economic benefits and job creation.
