Grantham Middle School consists of a 86,346 SF, single story building with 24 state of the art classrooms, athletic complex – including a football, soccer, baseball, and softball field. It is comprised of load-bearing masonry, bar joist structure, brick veneer, aluminum windows, TPO roof, with typical MS finishes.  This building, along with its sister middle school Spring Creek, is the 2nd and 3rd Net positive schools in the nation. Producing roughly 35% more electricity than the building uses is accomplished by 2,000+ solar panels mounted on the roof. Geothermal wells provide the heating and cooling needs for the building and round out the cutting-edge design.
