Fayetteville State University’s new College of Education is a four-story, 72,000-square-foot academic facility designed to support the university’s longstanding mission of preparing educators and educational leaders. The building brings College of Education students, faculty, staff, and programs together in one modern academic environment, creating greater opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and hands-on learning.
The facility features flexible classrooms, laboratories, faculty offices, conference rooms, a STEM lab, reading clinics, special education spaces, outdoor learning areas, and collaborative gathering spaces. Classrooms are equipped with advanced technology to support both in-person and hybrid instruction. Thoughtful architectural elements throughout the building also recognize FSU’s history and its seven founders, connecting the university’s legacy with the future of educator preparation in North Carolina.
