The Robeson Career & Technical Education Center, Planetarium, and Science Center is a nearly 110,000 SF, two-story educational facility designed to expand career and technical education and STEM opportunities for students throughout Robeson County. The state-of-the-art center features specialized classrooms, laboratories, collaborative learning spaces, and hands-on training environments supporting programs such as mechatronics, welding, automotive technology, emergency medical services, culinary arts, business, and emerging technologies.

The project also includes the new Robeson Planetarium and Science Center, replacing the former planetarium that was destroyed by Hurricane Matthew and providing a modern destination for science and STEM education. Constructed with a structural steel frame and a contemporary exterior incorporating brick, metal wall panels, zinc shingles, precast concrete, and curtain wall systems, the facility was designed to create real-world learning environments that prepare students for industry credentials, postsecondary education, and high-demand careers. The project represents a major investment in workforce development and the long-term economic growth of Robeson County.
