The new on-campus student housing project is a mixed-use complex featuring student housing as well as retail amenities. The developer led project consists of 3 separate buildings, Chidley, George, and Lawson, for a total of 375,000 sf, 323 units, 1276 total beds, with common and retail spaces. Two existing buildings were demolished as part of the project. This project is one of the first to be delivered as a P3, design-build contract for the UNC System.
Lawson Street will complete the three building complex for NCCU and will provide lifestyle amenities for students. This building is a total of 115,036 sf with 406 beds.
