A Maryland native, but North Carolina born; Tonya began her journey as a Safety Professional in the construction realm over 23 years ago successfully developing and managing environmental, safety and health programs for the construction and industrial industry and have extensive knowledge managing risk management in the loss control environment. With extensive knowledge that encompasses building construction, heavy civil, industrial and highway construction and the State and Federal OSHA regulations governing these entities.  This background has allowed the company to receive recognition for an exemplary safety and health program resulting in being one of 23 General Contractors in the state of North Carolina awarded the OSHA Building Star status.

Tonya is responsible for the overall management of our comprehensive corporate risk management/insurance program with a concentration on risk identification, risk transfer and risk retention techniques and is inspired to always strive for excellence in service.  This hard work has allowed her to successfully reach and maintain OSHA compliance on multiple multi-million dollar projects through continuous and extensive hands on safety training and development.
