Pendleton Building was a complete interior gut and rebuilt with metal studs and drywall. Exterior work consisted of new landscaping, site utilities, new underground vault, wooden deck in courtyard area and exterior paint on the building only. A 3 story addition was built that was attached to the west end of the existing Pendleton building. The addition was all new finishes. Pickens Building was originally a minimum renovation project only redoing the MEPF systems in the building. This changed soon after starting the project and we completely gutted the first floor, and repaired walls for 2nd & 3rd floors only. Both building refurbished the existing exterior windows to help keep the historic history of both buildings. We also reused the existing wood that was removed from the gymnasium floor in multiple areas in the Pendleton Building.
