We are pleased to announce that our Joint Venture Team of Metcon Buildings and Infrastructure and T. A. Loving were awarded the new College of Health Sciences Building for UNC Pembroke.
This state-of-the-art facility will be designed by Jenkins Peer Architects | FLAD Architecture and will house a variety of health science labs, classroom spaces, and a coveted optometry lab for UNCP. The New Optometry Program is the first of its kind in Southeastern NC and will also feature a walk-in clinic that will be open to serve the community.
UNC Pembroke has been a catalyst for change in North Carolina, especially the southeastern part of the state, and our team is proud to be a part of the direct impact on health profession shortages and health outcomes for citizens throughout this region and beyond.
